ZELENI VIR I VRAŽJI PROLAZ
Zeleni Vir i Vražji Prolaz (Green Whirlpool and Devil’s Passage) can be found in the canyon, below Skrad. Declared geomorphological Reserve 1962nd year, extending over an area of about 200 hectares.
Until the reserve can be arranged to get the hiking trails, walking along the creek Curak, or paved road car. At the entrance to the reserve is located in mountain home “Green vortex”, which offers a home Gorski dishes, desserts of different forest products and specialty characteristic of this region – Skradski strudel.
Green vortex is a source at the bottom of a shallow cave whose entrance is surrounded by a series of vertical cliffs that drop waterfall. Whirlpool Green was named the greenish color of water that occurs in the cave. The whole time walking on the beaten track, surrounded by beautiful nature and you follow a slight murmur of water.
Other attractions reserve the Devil’s gate, 800 meters long canyon. There are breaks between the high rocks stream Crèche and their actions shaped stone, leaving behind fascinating scenes. Devil’s passage through the narrow water paths, stairs and bridges, below which the stream murmurs.
Above the plateau, which ends with the Devil’s passage there is a cave men hižica. Is named after the husband that is a man who was master of the group that during the invasion of Turks hid in the cave. The cave is 200 meters long and full with stalactites, stalagmites. At the end of the cave, which has not been sufficiently explored is the pond, which is at the same time found in Postojna cave salamander. FOREST PARK GOLUBINJAK
Park Forest Lokve loft of the center is about 1 mile. Dovecot has been declared a protected forest park 1955th and occupies an area the size of 51 ha. On that site, found the natural beauty typical of the mountainous landscape.

ADRENALIN PARK KUPJAK
A special impression leaves the view from the lookout to the park in front of you, opens the beauty of forests and hills all the way to the Slovenian Alps. Located above the excursion of the protected landscape of the Zeleni Vir-Skrad and hiking trails connected with excursion area. At the edge of the park stretches several kilometers long forest trail suitable for walking and cycling. Part of the park is covered with meadows and the other part of the park offers shade of thick coniferous forest.
NATIONAL PARK RISNJAK
Risnjak was declared a national park in 1953. at the proposal of dr. Ivo Horvat. The specificity of this area, and also why it was declared a national park was a relatively small area with many geological and geomorphological, vegetation, climate and pedological phenomena.
National Park covers an area of 6400 hectares, and lies at an altitude between 290 and 1528 m. The National Park Risnjak range includes hydro-geomorphologic natural monument, the source of the Kupa river and mountain range Snjeznik.
Risnjak (Large Risnjak 1528 m) mountain is part of the Croatian threshold, and belongs to the Dinaric system, which extends from the eastern Alps to the Sársko-Pindos Mountains, encompassing the northwest area of Gorski Kotar. Risnjak abounds with flora and fauna, so you can see wild animals like a bear, wolf and lynx. Applicants with prior notice can arrange viewing of these rarely visible animals in their natural habitat. Since plant species, and here there are indeed many is worth mentioning that Edelweiss is under special protection.
Management of the national park Risnjak is situated in the village of Bijela Vodica near Crni Lug, where is the main entrance to the park. The park can be entered through Vilja, Upper Jelenje and the Kupa valleys.
If you choose to visit Risnjak from Crni Lug you can go to educational trail Leska. This trail is unique in Croatia, because it is designed and constructed so that each visitor is allowed to exceed the individual, identifying all the natural and cultural beauty of the national park Risnjak. When visiting the park visitors can find refreshment and sleep in a mountain meadow Šloser located at the foot of a large Risnjak peak. Mountain Lodge is open from May to November.
When you visit a national park it is certainly worth seeing the source of the Kupa river, hydro-geomorphologic natural monument. The source is located at 313 meters above sea level. To the source of the Kupa river we can reach trough well-marked attractive serpentine path from the village of Razloge, or from the north side of the Kupa valleys, Hrvatsko village where we have a milder and longer. Source of Kupa length is 200m and average 30 meters wide.
Snježnik which is also located within the National Park Risnjak is located northwest of Risnjak. The simplest and quickest approach to Snjeznik is the Roman road that starts from the Platak. Mountain Snježnik, which reaches a height of 1506 meters, is surrounded by rocky mountains and flowery meadows.
Excursion Kamačnik located near Vrbovskog. The starting point for a tour of the canyon Kamačnik located at the mouth of a good Kamačnik where there is a restaurant. At the entrance to the canyon are the remains of an old sawmill that its appearance tell a special story about the past and complement the overall picture of the canyon. From this point begins to trail 3 km, which leads to the source Kamačnik. The course is surrounded by beautiful nature. Part of the course is located next to the creek, and in some places the path includes a creek crossing wooden bridges, thus leading to the green valley where the source Kamačnik.
Lake Lokve is a artificial lake depth of about 40 m and the size of about 2,5 km². Lake was created by the construction of the dam which has halted the river Lokvarka. The dam was built from 1952. till the year 1954. The construction of the dam flooded the valley with village in which were 3 mills and even 69 houses.
Although the Lokve Lake is artificial lake, it fits almost naturally into the environment of coniferous forest. Today is a tourist attraction and is one of the favorite tourist destinations.
First World Championship in underwater orientation was held on the Lake Lokve in the year of 1973. on which attended by 20 teams from 16 countries of the world.
The manifestation POJ, a traditional meeting of mountaineers and lovers of walking and cyclists is held at the Lake since 1978. Swimming in Lokve Lake guarantees refreshment during the summer and many of its small coves can be reached by walking path. Lokvarsko Lake is a favorite place for fishermen. It is rich in trout, carp, chub and many other species of fish.
River Kupa flows from karst lakes in the turquoise green of the National Park Paklenica near the town of reasons in Gorski Kotar. About 100 m downstream from the right side received water with occasional torrential Krasicevica creek, and further to the left of intermittent flow Sušice and turns toward the northeast and then north. Below is a quick source of Kupa river, while a few miles calms and becomes peaceful rivers criss-crossed with many artificial waterfalls that are used in history to run the mills: mills and sawmills. CAVE LOKVARKA & CAVE VRELO
Lokvarka Cave is located in the ponds. Discovered in 1912. year, and is one of the largest Croatian caves designed and arranged to visit the tourist.
The cave is 1200 meters long, no visitor is allowed to visit the caves up to 900 meters. The cave is naturally divided into four galleries, but for visitors are available only three, while the fourth was discovered last is not intended for visitors. Height difference between inlet and the last available point to visitors, is 140 meters. Marked trails and stairs leading to the indoor space in which there are many interesting cave stone decorations and sends, and to the underground lake.
Cave spring is located 3 km from the center Fužina. The cave was discovered 1950th year, and its age is estimated at about half past three million years ago.

Petehovac a hill that rises above Delnice and reaches a height of 1035 meters above sea level. Petehovac during good weather suitable for walking and hiking and biking, and winter is ideal for skiing.
The Petehovac today on the ruins of the old resort is a small ski resort with hotel, next to him is a small playground for kids with buckets, swings and slides so that the least shall not be deprived of entertainment. We offer skiing and night skiing, and for those who do not know how to ski there is a path to sledding. The resort can rent ski equipment and sledges. The Petehovac should definitely visit the site Jagodina rock which is 500 m from the main building on Petehovac, which is related to a legend about a young girl who you are because of unrequited love takes life by jumping from a steep cliff, which according to her, and gets the name. Bjelolasica, located in the western part of Gorski Kotar’s highest mountain peak, whose tower is located on 1534 meters above sea level. Bjelolasica is 7 kilometers long, and is characterized by a narrow ridge of light that stands out above the forest belt.
